Terms of Service

1. Services covered

These Terms apply to the full TransX402 product series, including:

Hosted platform: transx402.com (marketing), dashboard.transx402.com (merchant dashboard), api.transx402.com (facilitator API), and docs.transx402.com (documentation)
WordPress plugin: TransX402 Paywall
npm packages: @transx402/client and @transx402/server
Official examples and sandbox demos we publish for integration testing

Each product may have additional license terms (for example, GPLv2+ for the WordPress plugin, MIT for npm packages). Where those licenses apply to source code, they govern the code; these Terms govern your use of the TransX402 services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use TransX402 on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of blockchain payments, stablecoins, and paywalled content complies with laws applicable to you and your customers, including in Indonesia and other jurisdictions where you operate.

3. Merchant accounts and API keys

To use the hosted platform, you register through the merchant dashboard using Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) and provide information such as your email, name, and website. You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials and API keys secure.

API keys are issued in sandbox (ipk_sandbox_…) and live (ipk_live_…) modes. You are responsible for all activity under your keys. Do not expose secret API keys in client-side code, public repositories, or browser bundles. The WordPress plugin and @transx402/server are designed to keep secret keys on the server.

We may suspend or revoke access if we reasonably believe your account or keys have been compromised or misused.

4. Payments and blockchain settlement

TransX402 facilitates x402 micropayments settled in IDRX (an IDR-pegged stablecoin) on supported networks such as Base mainnet, using Permit2 authorization flows. Our facilitator verifies payment authorizations and may sponsor gas so payers do not pay network fees directly in typical flows.

Important limitations:

TransX402 is not a bank, money transmitter, exchange, custodian, or issuer of IDRX. We provide payment facilitation software and hosted infrastructure.
On-chain settlements are irreversible once confirmed. We cannot reverse blockchain transactions.
You are solely responsible for pricing, refunds, chargebacks, tax reporting, consumer protection, and disclosures to your own customers and site visitors.
Sandbox environments use test assets only. Live keys move real value on supported networks.

Fees for platform usage are described on our marketing pricing page. We may update pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

Publish your own terms, privacy notices, and cookie disclosures on your website or application where required by law
Obtain any consent required before enabling paywalls, cookies, or wallet interactions for your visitors
Use TransX402 only for lawful purposes and not for fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, malware, or illegal content
Maintain the security of your WordPress site, server, and integration code
Comply with WordPress.org and npm distribution rules when you redistribute our open-source components

If you use the WordPress plugin, you are the data controller for payment records stored in your WordPress database and for access cookies set on your domain after successful payments.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization
Interfere with or overload the API or facilitator
Circumvent paywalls, access controls, or rate limits
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with TransX402
Use live API keys in untested or unauthorized environments

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate access.

7. Intellectual property

TransX402 names, logos, documentation, and hosted service interfaces are owned by CAMP or its licensors. Open-source components are licensed separately as stated in their repositories.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use our services and integrate our SDKs according to their applicable open-source or service terms.

8. Third-party services

TransX402 connects to third-party infrastructure including blockchain networks, block explorers (such as Basescan and OnchainFolio testnet explorer), wallet providers, and optional error monitoring (such as Sentry when configured by us). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE TRANSX402 SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free code, or that blockchain networks, wallets, or IDRX liquidity will remain available. Examples and sandbox demos are provided for testing without production warranties.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAMP AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF TRANSX402.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CAMP from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of TransX402, your paywalled content, your treatment of customer or visitor data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using TransX402 at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue a service with reasonable notice where practicable.

On termination, your right to use the hosted platform ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including payment disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on transx402.com/terms and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the dashboard or email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for disputes arising from these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.
